LOVE-SPLIT telly host Helen Skelton has signed up to Strictly — hoping to “bounce back” from her shock marriage break up.
Countryfile’s Helen has joined the contestants and, sources believe, may welcome being touched by the show’s “curse”.

He was by then already dating marketing executive Stephanie Thirkill, 32.
She will hope the BBC1 contest — famous for sparking romances — could boost her confidence and help her to find happiness again.

A source said: “It’s the perfect way to bounce back.
“Most people are absolutely desperate to avoid the Strictly curse but Helen would love it to give her some confidence back
“She’s a great signing for the show and enormously popular with viewers, especially after what has happened to her lately.
“Everyone on the inside thinks she could end up going a very long way.”

Ex-Blue Peter presenter Helen’s split with Leeds Rhinos scrum-half Myler came as a shock to friends.
One said the popular host, who has children Ernie, seven, Louis, five, and Elsie, seven months, with Myler, was “absolutely dumbstruck”.
At the time, she said the couple would be “doing our best to co-parent” the kids.
Richie may have to step in when Helen joins the show for real.
She appeared on Strictly’s Christmas special in 2012 where she was partnered with Russian pro Artem Chigvintsev, 40.
Their jive to All I Want For Christmas Is You was praised and she could go far in this year’s competition.
Strictly’s curse has struck most years, playing Cupid to several pros and partners.
The lovebirds set up home together the next year.
